Elma, NY - Sahlen Sports Park is excited to announce they have hired RJ Grampp as the Director of Soccer Operations for the 2019-2020 season. In addition to running the Champions program within SSP, Grampp will be coordinating camps as well as coaching two Euro Champions teams.

Grampp, 28, is a Williamsville South graduate who played college soccer at Buffalo State. Following his college career, Grampp began with Amherst Soccer Association as a travel coach and then was promoted to their Technical Staff. While on the Amherst Soccer Technical Staff, part of Grampp's responsibilities was running their Under-6 program, as well as camps, and training sessions for various youth travel teams.

Grampp was brought on board in 2017 with the WNY Flash where he has coached numerous teams within WNY's top premier club.

The Champions program at Sahlen Sports Park is the longest running program at SSP, which celebrates its 20th anniversary this fall. It serves as an introductory program to soccer, with ages 2-11 registering. On the other end of the spectrum, the Euro Champions program, for ages 12 & up, is a club neutral development program run over the winter months.

SSP also runs numerous camps over the fall & winter holidays and school breaks.

"I'm very excited to be leading the soccer programming at Sahlen Sports Park. I'm passionate about working with young players and fostering their love of the game through fun & intense training sessions," Grampp says. "Coaching the Euro Champions teams will allow me to reall develop some of the talent in this area that is playing at the high school level, which i'm looking forward to," Grampp adds.

Grampp is currently a USSF C Licensed coach. To register Sahlen Sports Park Champions League, click here. To register or read more about our Euro Champions program, click here.
