2022 Summer Camp Coaching Staff

Colin Morrow

Colin worked as the Development & Talent ID Coach at Manchester City F.C where he coached for development centers across the Northwest of England. He also identified players for the Manchester City Football Academy. Additionally, he worked as the Liverpool Feds FC Assistant Manager & Coach, where he managed tactical, technical, and social elements of all players. This impressive resume & experience will absolutely challenge and elevate players who join us for camps & programs at Sahlen's Sports Park. Colin brings a great energy to training sessions and is passionate about teaching the game of soccer.

Colin will be working as the head coach for our first Striker & Goalkeeper camp, first Summer Soccer Camp, & our Elite Player Development Camp.

Aaron Siegel

An assistant coach in charge of the goalkeepers with the D'Youville men's soccer program, Siegel joins the Saints after a decorated career at the club and prep levels. A four-year starter and two-time captain at Smithtown West, the two-time all-conference honoree finished his high school career as the school's record holder for most clean sheets and that record placed him in the top-10 for clean sheets in Long Island. Siegel played his club soccer for Lake Grove-Newfield where he helped capture three league titles, two state championships, and the 2017 U.S. Club Soccer National Championship. In between the posts, Siegel was also named to the all-league list twice.

Aaron will be working as the Goalkeeper coach at both of our Striker & Goalkeeper Camps for 2022.

Nate Sorgi

Nate Sorgi is joining our summer camp coaching staff for a second year. Nate was a four-year letter winner at Daemen College with the Men's Soccer Team. He was a 2017 graduate of Iroquois Central High School where he played for coach George Glinsboeckel. Sorgi was a three-year member of the soccer team, two-time ECIC Division II all-star--second-team as a junior and third-team as a senior & was selected Offensive MVP as a junior and collected the Coaches Award as a senior. He helped the Chiefs to a Section VI A-2 title as a junior & senior. Sorgi played club soccer for Blackwatch Premier and GPS.

Nate graduated with a bachelor's degree in Business with a specialization in Sports Management. He currently works as our Director of Programming & Business Development, leading our Champions Program, Champions Select team, as well as our Specialty & Summer Camps. He will be assisting & directing all summer camps for 2022.

Kat Lawver

Kat Lawver coaches for the WNY Flash Academy 2011/2012 Girls North team where she just completed her first year. She also serves as the Volunteer Assistant Coach for the Canisius College Women's Soccer team, where she’s been for two years.

As a player, Lawver was a four-year letter winner at Canisius College from 2013-2016, with 45 appearances, 9 starts, 3 goals, & 9 points as a forward. She also served as the team's backup goalkeeper in 2015. She was named MAAC Rookie of the Week in 2013 & was named to the MAAC All-Academic Team in 2014, 2015, & 2016. Lawver attended Cocalico High School from 2010-2013 and was a 4-year starter & letter winner. She is the all-time record holder for goals in a career, assists in a career, and overall points in a career with 50 goals, 38 assists, and 135 career points. She was named to the All-State Team as a senior, was a 2x All-League member, & a 3x First Team All-Star.

She graduated with a Bachelors's degree in Digital Media Arts in 2017. She currently works as our Marketing Director at Sahlen's Sports Park as well as the WNY Flash Academy. She will be assisting with all 2022 summer camps at Sahlen's Sports Park.
